Ling Xiao is Senior Vice President and Head of Technology Risk and Control at Northern Trust, leading technology risk strategy, control standards and frameworks, risk and control assessments, regulatory compliance, and supervisory engagements across global IT. Previously, she held leadership roles at Fidelity Investments and Ernst & Young LLP. At Fidelity, she served across the three lines of defense, including Head of Risk for Fidelity Digital Assets, Co-Head of Technology Audits within Corporate Audit, and Cybersecurity Risk Director within the risk organization. She holds a BS and MS from Renmin University of China, an MS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and an MS in Accountancy from Bentley University.
